PROFESSIONAL FOREIGN SERVICE SORORITY
WHERE IT ALL STARTED
Originally, Delta Phi Epsilon began a professional foreign service fraternity at Georgetown University established in 1920.
In the fall of 1972, the Alpha chapter fraternity at Georgetown University conceived of an entirely new approach: Delta Phi Epsilon would henceforth consist of both a Delta Phi Epsilon Professional Foreign Service Fraternity and a Delta Phi Epsilon Professional Foreign Service Sorority.
The founding of Delta Phi Epsilon Professional Foreign Service Sorority occurred at the Alpha chapter house on February 24, 1973 in Washington D.C.
And the rest is DPE history. Michigan State University’s Mu Chapter was recolonized by Kathryn Doyal and Brieann Sauer in the summer of 2015.
Since that time, our chapter has introduced a new class every year!
